Doctor Vaughan has been practicing in Placer County since 1999. He started immediately upon his returning to Auburn, California, after completing a three year residency.  He is the founder of the Auburn Medical Group and serves as the Medical Director of this General and Family Medicine practice.

Seeing changes in medicine lead to less time available for interaction with patients inspired Doctor Vaughan to create MedicallySpeakingRadio.com and the Medically Speaking Radio show with co-host and fellow Auburn native, Larry Finney. This show allows a venue for disucssing medical topics in more depth with patients and other listeners each week on KAHI, AM 950, and kahi.com.

Doctor Vaughan lives in Auburn with his wife and family, where they are actively involved in their church. He also enjoys bicycling, airsoft, and traveling with his family.
